woven - The Conran Shop

Here are my woven samples and also images of the upholstered products that I envisage them to be on. My target client (if you missed my last post) was the Conran shop. My main focus with the client in minds, was to create a statement product, with masculinity and a strong colour palette while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic. The Conran Shop are very ahead in the design league so I needed to ensure that the woven samples met this design focus. take a peek!

I have completed my collection so here are the pictures below. I haven't had chance to scan them in yet as my work is currently being assessed but will do that next week to show you all. The targeted client is The Conran Shop, the designers I have absolute admiration for. The collection I have produced consists of a collection for upholstery and fabric for accessories. I have used screen printing, leather manipulation, embossing, foiling, digital printing and weave. Hope you like!
