Jazmin Berakha

An adorably talented lady I have found while distracting myself from paper work. Jazmin Berakha has not only recently exhibited in Paris, she is also clearly very very talented...some ladies just have it all don't they. She works with illustrations, embroidery, costume design and graphics. Her collection consists personal projects and collaborations with other artists. I adore her style, it is so feminine and so detailed but perfectly poised. LOVE this lady.

Helen Amy Murray

Helen Amy Murray is a textile designer specialising in fabric manipulating, working with leather & Suede. I have had a dab at this and can now wholly appreciate the full depth of her talent...it is not an easy game. Her work is simply outstanding and there is no comparison to what she is able to do with fabric. Add her to your inspiring people list and keep yourself updated with her work..she is one hell of a talent.

I have been so mentally busy I haven't had time to scan my images in but wanted to upload and get them out there...so here they are. My next step is to move on to fabric manipulation techniques using leather and laser cutting. watch this space lovely creative people.

Emma Cowlam

This talented lady is another treat I found in Liberty's last weekend. She is a textile artists and works using illustrated drawings and converts them in to stitch. It really is a very simple looking technique however very original. I have checked out her website and her commisons are also pretty impressive. Definitely an inpsiration for taking stitch a little further.
