wish list: Reiss

I used to work for Reiss and it was love at first sight...it was very sad to say goodbye but I think my bank had BIG celebrations. Reiss oozes quality, class, sophistication and style. Every garment is effortless, chic and when you wear a Reiss item, cliche as it sounds, you do feel like a million dollars (nearly). I spend a lot of time online browsing for inspiration and Reiss is always on my list. If you ever fancy a little something special take a look at Reiss. I can guarantee it will be a new addiction. inspiration: Monday sky

I have so many pictures of the sky saved to my mac and all are so different and so beautiful. Does anybody ever look up? There is definitely something lovely and calming about looking at the sky and it reminds me of holiday's...relaxing times. If you don't look up already I hope these snaps now inspire you too look up a little more.

christmas wish list: books

I have been asked a few times already what I would like for christmas and it is always so difficult with trying not to ask for something to big or ask for something you don't really need. Plus you are always torn with what you need and what you would just really really like (which is usually expensive in my case)! I think a good old book ticks each of those boxes. There is something lovely about crisp white sheets with a splash of colour. I am a huge fan of white (on white on white ideally). The weather has been so miserable I have been looking for a bit of colour to brighten up the weekend and I think this picture fits the job perfectly. Now come on spring hurry up...we are ready for you.

I have been very inspired of late by Scandinavian design...in fact it'd be fair to say I have an obsession. Although in my defence I do think there are worse obsessions to have...don't you agree? I have been playing around with colours for the bedroom in my current home and have come up with the colour palette above. What do you think?

Je t'aime Paris

I have been trying to find inspiration for my summer project, My vava voom always comes from architecture or structure but I have struggled to find something new and challenging. So I have been browsing through my old pictures of a trip to Paris I took two years ago (taken to by my lovely mister) and have finally found my starting point. Here are some pictures below. I have edited them slightly to allow me to draw using an aged technique. These pictures bring back so many memories..I really want to live in Paris.
